Understanding your child’s career aspiration
Many a times we see parents forcing their parents to study courses of their choice right from their childhood stage. Parents try to impose their wish on their child’s mind which is really not a good option. These kinds of attitudes are very much common in under developed and developing nations. These behaviors are not so common in the United States and Canada.

This post is dedicated to parents who are suffering from understanding their child’s aspiration towards studies. These are some tips collected from reputed journals that have done deep research on children, industry, career, job and much more.
Never push:
We always see parents pushing things on their child to read a specific type of book, do a specific thing and ask them to play only specific type of games. While advising is good, pushing things on child is not so good. Children have to practice taking decisions right from their childhood days. Parents should never micro manage their child, which will ultimately kill their behaviors as a strong leader.
No micro management:
Asking your child to play carefully in waters is good. But always managing him or her and bossing him to do things is not so good. As a parent when you do things like this, children get addicted to your words and they do not develop the ability to follow their own thoughts. Abraham Lincoln once said to a teacher of his son, to teach him to follow his hearts even he was wrong.
Wrong thoughts can be corrected, but the ability to believe in himself and trust him is the seed that you must develop in him as a parent.
Allow them to do what they desire:
Obviously you as a parent should not allow a children to eat tons and tons of chocolates. These common things have to be followed, but at the same time you should give them some bandwidth to do things that they like. For instance if you child like golfing, don’t push him to play football since you like it. Your personal thoughts and your personal feelings should not interfere with his thoughts and feelings.
Guide them as a friend:
A good friend guides a person and sees the values on it. They make their suggestion and recommendation and allow the person to take a decision. That is what a parent has to do. They have to show them their views and allow them to decide on their goals and objectives.
